Shaul Lapidot won the Barenholz Prize - http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2011-08/thuo-hus080111.php, an important award granted by the Hebrew University Board, for the important achievements reached within the WOODY Project on the process for transforming papermill wastes (wastewaters) into NCC, and from there into foam to be applied in substitution of oil based materials.
